There were way to many great pics to choose from for this past Saturdays' session with Sarah. We had a lot of fun at the studio and then to downtown Grapevine where we had lots of spectators, but that didn't phase her! Thanks Sarah!

It had been a while since I had seen this beautiful little girl!  She was about 6 months old when she came to the studio before and did portraits with her mom and some all by herself sitting up.  Now she is so grown up!

I think it may have had something to do with our dog Mercedes, they want a puppy so bad and I hope they get one soon so I can take sweet little puppy pictures of it!  Mercedes is a Snorkie ( half mini Schnauzer and Yorkie) and you can see just how cute and friendly she is on her Facebook page here:

Hair and Makeup for Senior Photos

Getting your hair and makeup professionally done before you are photographed is a GREAT idea! I personaly am not great at doing my own hair and makeup and had always felt un-photogenic, but I was very impressed when I was in my best friends wedding a few years ago and had pro hair and makeup. I looked like the "me" I feel like, not like a stranger, but I looked also so much more put together than what I have ever accomplished on my own with the makeup. Now that I myself am close to my own wedding in a few months, it was a no brainer to get my hair and makeup done for the engagement photos. I'm thinking as big of an investment as it is, not only monetarily but timewise (3 hours for the shoot). I may never look this good again, this young and in love, so why not do everything I can to look and feel my best? Below is a short video of a session where we had a makeup artist come here to do the hair and makeup; it turned out great. If you have a session with us and may want a makeup artist for your session, just let us know and we will help you schedule that with our preferred makeup artist.

Fellowship Chruch Grapevine

One of the coolest programs GRACE in Grapevine, TX organizes in the summer months is called "Feed our Kids".  They realized a lot of kids in our area who would normally be provided a lunch in school go with one in the summer so GRACE did something about it.  Businesses and churches can sponsor a week of lunches and with GRACE they can make them directly available to the kids that need it right where they live. This week we visited while the Fellowship Church supplied plenty of tasty Chic-fil-a sandwiches and a fitness trainer that organized fun exercises for all the kids.
