Hair and Makeup for Senior Photos

Getting your hair and makeup professionally done before you are photographed is a GREAT idea! I personaly am not great at doing my own hair and makeup and had always felt un-photogenic, but I was very impressed when I was in my best friends wedding a few years ago and had pro hair and makeup. I looked like the "me" I feel like, not like a stranger, but I looked also so much more put together than what I have ever accomplished on my own with the makeup. Now that I myself am close to my own wedding in a few months, it was a no brainer to get my hair and makeup done for the engagement photos. I'm thinking as big of an investment as it is, not only monetarily but timewise (3 hours for the shoot). I may never look this good again, this young and in love, so why not do everything I can to look and feel my best? Below is a short video of a session where we had a makeup artist come here to do the hair and makeup; it turned out great.
